The museum, set in the former 18th century almshouses of the Ironmongers' Company, illustrates the history of furniture-making, for which Shoreditch was famous. The period rooms lead the visitor on a walk through time, from the 17th to the 21st century. Special exhibitions, furnished almshouse, Café. Award-winning herb garden and a series of period garden rooms.
